Summer School
Fontana High School Summer School is open to all
Fontana students in grades 9 through 12, who need remedial
assistance in academic and elective areas. It is also open to
students seeking advanced credit in both the required and elective areas.

Summer school begins on
Tuesday, June 9, 2009, and ends on Friday, July 17, 2009, for a total of 28
days. There will be NO summer school on
July
3, 2009 (Holiday).

Eligibility
The Summer session is open to all
students in grades 9-11 who currently attend school in the Fontana Unified
School District.
Students who reside in the FUSD, but
do not attend an FUSD school, may enroll for summer school only during the late
registration period. Necessary new Student Enrollment forms must be completed
before students can enroll in summer school. Enrollment forms may be picked up
at the reception desk at Fontana High School during the regular school day.
Students who do not reside in the
FUSD may attend summer school. They must have an approved Intra/Inter District
Transfer Agreement signed by Dr. Logan), a New Student Enrollment Form, and
enroll during the late registration period
Textbooks
Students will not be issued textbooks unless they
have current Student ID cards or other identification. Also, students who
have charges for books will NOT be issued new textbooks until they have
cleared the charges or returned the book(s).
Registration
Students
interested in attending summer session should enroll with their counselor
beginning May 4-22, 2009.
Remember, you
should pre-enroll for summer school. Do not wait for the start of summer
school to register.
There will be a
limited late registration in June on the following dates:
For 10th,
11th, and 12th Graders
