2006 District History Day - Winners

The Fontana Unified School District had a great turn out for District History Day.  Hundreds of FUSD students demonstrated their knowledge of historical people and events in our annual History Day event at Truman Middle School.

Numerous Individual, Class and Group projects relating to the 2006 theme of "Taking a Stand in History"  were named district champions and will advance to the San Bernardino County History Day competition on March 25, 2006 at A.B. Miller High School.

"Fontana will be well represented in the county competition this year," said Sherry Hamilton, the History Day advisor at A.B. Miller. "It's going to be exciting."
