Dear Parents
and Guardians:
Please be advised that June 30, 2005, will be the last day
that the Transportation Department will be accepting school bus pass
applications at our main office on Catawba Avenue. Beginning July 1, 2005,
student bus applications will be handled at the District's Enrollment Center
located at 9548 Citrus Avenue.
Transportation Department staff at the Enrollment Center
will accept your bus application; however, they will not be issuing bus passes
or providing bus stop information. You will be notified by mail regarding
your application approximately one week after your application is submitted.
Included with your application notification will be (1) an appropriate bus pass,
(2) stop location, (3) stop pick-up time, and (4) information regarding what, if
any further information is required by the Transportation Department.
During the time between the submission of the application and your mail
notification, it will not be possible to provide transportation for your
student.
The Enrollment Center will accept applications and conduct
other school bus pass business from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through
Friday, excluding holidays.
The Transportation Department thanks you for your support
and cooperation during this transition, and hopes that this change will reduce
wait times and provide better customer service to our bus riders.
