A.B. Miller High School's
Visual and Performing Arts Department will be holding its first-ever "Evening of
the Arts" on Saturday, March 4. The event, "Rebels with a Cause,"
will promote the school's performers,
raise funds for arts programs, and honor individuals who have supported the arts
at Miller throughout the years.
This event will showcase A.B. Miller High School's most talented visual and
performing artists (and even some of their faculty), including: A.B. Miller Dance Company, A.B. Miller
Concert Band, A.B. Miller Percussion Ensemble, A.B. Miller Visual Art Students
and Teachers, A.B. Miller Winter Guard, International Thespian Society, the cast
of their upcoming theatre production "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown," Bob
Farley, Liza Gesuden, and Christopher Lee.
A welcome reception will start at 6:30 p.m. and then the showcase and concert
will follow at 7:30 p.m. at the A.B. Miller
Theatre. Admission tickets are $15 for the general public, $10 for A.B.
Miller students and Alumni, and $8 for A.B. Miller students with ASB card.
