Parenting Classes Offered for Spanish-Speaking Parents
The Parent Involvement department provides and
coordinates training opportunities for Spanish-speaking parents. Some
upcoming classes are:
- Parenting Classes with Maria Rosa Reifler (Download flyer in

Mondays - October 17, 24 and November 7, 14, 28 (8:30 a.m.-12 noon)
FUSD Parent Education Center
Parents will receive information on ways to help their children acquire
self-management skills and take responsibility of their behavior by learning
to make good decisions. Classes are in Spanish. Childcare is
available for children 3 years and older. Space is limited.

FUSD Parent Education Center
Parents will learn new ways and strategies to: communicate positively
with their children and school staff; support and help their children succeed
in school; and encourage and instill self-esteem in their children
- Inspire Project for Parents (Download flyer in

Spanish)
FUSD in collaboration with the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools
will offer training for parents through the Inspire Project Program for
Parents. The main focus of this program is to increase parents'
knowledge of the No Child Left Behind legislation and its provision for
parental involvement and training.
